| Description: | You will guide and direct the quality testing lab for our business units to assure appropriate procedures are in place that will assure both internal and external customer quality expectations are achieved. You will be the point of contact for responding to critical testing issues, quality key measure performance and all quality certifications. You will drive new customer qualification testing to assist in revenue growth. |
| Duties: | Manage the lab to provide timely QA/QC analyses for raw materials, finished product, new product development and new customer qualifications.
Responsible for the continual improvement of the laboratory processes and testing preparations.
Develop methods to assess the skills and proficiency of lab employees and provide training programs to close gaps and continually build competence.
Develop systems to improve lab efficiency, operations and testing methods.

| Qualifications: | Bachelor�s degree in a technical field; mechanical engineering background a plus
2 + years� experience in a quality engineering position
Specific education and training in quality disciplines including ISO14001, QS9000 and AS9100, NADCAP along with continuous improvement, PPAP, FMEA, control plans, SPC and TQM
Experience managing a quality lab and promoting excellent lab practices
Experience with Instron mechanical testing equipment
Ability to teach and mentor in advanced statistical concept and problem solving methodology
