| Description: | The Controls Engineer provides technical support and programming for manufacturing system design, modifications and equipment upgrades. Emphasis is on programming structure and integration on new and existing equipment. |
| Duties: | Design and modify Controls Systems and provide concepts, schedules, and quotations as required
Develop and install programming for PLC�s, PAC�s, HMI�s and vision systems.
Develop, implement and upgrade procedures and specifications relative to control systems and their components.
Realize and implement best practices and commonality where possible
Support Electricians and mentor them on Controls and software to improve their troubleshooting skills

| Qualifications: | Bachelor degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology.
Minimum of two to four years� experience in a similar manufacturing environment working with Control Systems, PLC�s, PAC�s and HMI�s.
Working knowledge of the following types of automation hardware. Opto 22, Allen Bradley, Direct Logic, GE Fanuc.
Ability to design and create electrical drawings using AutoCad.
Ability to use Microsoft Office Applications.
Good computer, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work with minimum supervision.
